With this in mind, the name "lana" is derived from part of the Lao word phanlana, which means to draw.

It features a wide, loose collar, creating a silhouette that is not too stiff.

You can also wear it as a jacket over other clothes to instantly brighten up your outfit.
The length is short, so it can be worn over pants or a skirt, or even a dress for a balanced look.
