He writes about how his encounter with artisans while working for the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers led him to decide to establish his own brand.
"Melanger Etranger," introduced at the beginning, is an African fabric x Lolita brand created by Kobayashi, who is also a former Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer.
